Volvo Plans to Produce Only Electric Vehicles as of 2030

As electric vehicles gradually become a part of our lives, automobile manufacturers started to head towards their investments and production targets in this regard.

Car manufacturer Volvo, whose headquarters is in Sweden, also took a step in this regard. The company announced that it will produce only electric vehicles as of 2030.

Volvo stated that it will swerve into the electric vehicles market that has a rapid growth and phase out gasoline and diesel engine vehicle production earlier than other major automobile manufacturers.

It was stated that while the new generation of electric vehicles is launched, sales will be made online in order to develop direct relationships with customers and eliminate trade-offs. Customers will be able to order cars through a website, whether at home or in the showroom.

Forming 50% of its sales by electric cars and other mild-hybrid models by 2025 is among Volvo’s future targets.

Not only Volvo, but also manufacturers such as Ford, Volkswagen, Jaguar, Land Rover and Porsche announced that their future plans are in the field of electric automobiles. Bentley, the luxury car manufacturer within Volkswagen, announced that it will produce only electric cars as of 2030 at the end of 2020.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum
