TOGG gave the following information via the statement made on February 18, 2021 on its social media account: The infrastructure works of the paint, energy, body and entrance buildings of the factory, whose foundation was laid on July 18, 2020, have been completed, the iron assembly of the paint building has started and the superstructure works continue without slowing down.
TOGG Gemlik Facility has the title of being the cleanest facility in Europe, as well as being environmentally friendly. The followings are the objectives of the facility; To have a closed area of 230 thousand m2 when it reaches full capacity, to produce first mass car in the last quarter of 2022, to employ 4300 people, to ensure that at least 30% of the employees are women, to increase the locality rate to 68% in 2025 and to produce 1 million TOGGs until the end of 2030.

In a statement made on its social media account, TOGG stated that its designs were officially registered in Japan after 27 EU countries and China. In addition, Handelsblatt, one of the most important financial newspapers in Germany had an interview with TOGG's CEO Gürcan Karakaş and published the statements of "TOGG will produce its own Tesla". Handelsblatt also emphasized that Turkey has followed an independent local and foreign industrial policy in recent years.
Turkey's Automobile Enterprise Group (TOGG) shared the latest developments regarding the construction of the factory with the public on its official Twitter account. It was announced that great progress was made in the construction works and preparations were made for mass production.
As of July 2021, the iron production of the paint, body and energy facility and the concrete production have been completed. 40 percent of steel column manufacturing and 17 percent of structural steel manufacturing were completed. In addition, 95 percent of prefabricated column manufacturing and 22 percent of structural steel manufacturing have been completed.
At the end of September 2021, they plan to complete the roofing process of the entire facility.
